Therapy
Experience with illness, grief and change can make you more aware of the uncertainty and transience in life. That awareness can be difficult to manage and often brings up a range of emotions, from anxiety and fear to gratitude and awe. We believe that within times of vulnerability and despair, there can also be space for connection, love and growth. Putting aside time each week to explore the impact of these challenges may help you hold the beauty of life alongside the pain.

-
Individual therapy will provide a weekly space to meet one-on-one with your therapist where you process your experience while learning and practicing new coping strategies.
-
In couples therapy, you and your partner meet with a therapist weekly to focus on your relationship. The goals of couples therapy are often to find and improve ways of connecting and communicating with one another.
-
Family therapy provides an opportunity to improve familial relationships and enhance coping. Doing so requires identifying your family’s unique strengths and developing skills to better address the challenges you may face.

In group therapy, a group of individuals who are navigating a similar experience (i.e. grief, survivorship, illness, or caregiving) meet together regularly with a therapist. Group therapy offers you and your peers a way to connect, learn and support one other.
